Hello There
My name is Lauren, I'm an artist, and Transient Art is where I post my art, videos, sewing projects & other crafty things. I have 3 children (2 boys and a girl) with my husband, Jonathan. We currently reside in Colorado Springs, CO.
Some History
Transient Art started off as a YouTube series in 2008 documenting the making of my personal artworks and their creation.
My Blog
I write a lot about DIY crafts, tutorials, traditional art, sewing, and toss in some personal bits here and there. I hope to share something that might bring a little inspiration to your day.
My Fabric
I started designing fabrics in 2016 for under the Pennyrose Fabrics name for Riley Blake Designs. Click here to see my past and current collections.
My Art
I've been making art since I was 11. I mainly work with acrylics, graphite, and charcoal. I've tried lots of mediums however and enjoy almost all of them. I tend to make realistic works, and like the use of symbolism, gothic styles, and surrealism.I take a lot of inspiration from nature and my dreams. My works have been sold to collectors around the world.
My Videos
I record myself making my art, being myself, and edit it all together as a series called 'Transient Art'.

You can currently find pdf sewing patterns in my online shop. I'll sometimes sell my fabric, artwork, or other things there.
