Growing up we had two of these sucker ornaments hanging on our tree. They’re very easy, and especially quick to make and add that “sweet” touch to your tree. I think they’d even be fun to hang on a garland for a girl’s party.
Since school’s been in full gear for the kids all I’ve been thinking about is the next holiday to come up. I want to do all of these fun things, but have been sick pretty much all month and have been slacking a bit. Or maybe a lot!
It’s been a busy time since summer vacation began last month. We went to Disneyland but that’s another post, I’m still filtering through the photos. So, 4th of July came and went and we weren’t really in a grilling mood. It was 103° on the 4th itself but reached 112° only a couple days earlier! […]
Excusing the fact that I had stayed up until 1:30 in the morning finishing off Easter baskets (one of the basket liners was still a few flowers and leaves short of being finished in the embroidery) adding finishing touches with ribbons and candies, I did manage to wake up Easter morning at 6:30 to work […]

Celebrating Valentine’s has always been one of my favorites. Mainly due to how simple and sweet it is. I like baking cookies, making chocolate suckers, flowers, and making the day a little extra cute. I’m also a deep romantic, so that doesn’t hurt either. My husband’s out of town for work again, so I won’t […]

With Christmas around the corner, I’m prepping with gifts and doing other fun things with my boys.
