It’s finally here, her birthday. ne year since I had the most precious little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. Lyla, you’ve been the little girl we’ve dreamed of and wanted very much. I’m very sad that those baby months have passed but can’t wait to enjoy all of the coming years as you […]
I feel like I’m starting to get used to having 3 kids now. Well, maybe. Until one becomes a teenager, and the baby isn’t a baby anymore, ahh! On the baby topic- I did sew this diaper bag months ago just in time before Lyla was born, still not sure how I did that one. […]
I don’t think there can ever be enough pillows. I have an image in my mind of a corner filled with all cute handmade pillows and stuffed animals and one of my kids sitting in it reading. My boys drag multiple pillows with them around the house. (and a blanket or two for Jude- apparently […]

I’m super duper excited to tell you that…
We’ve been in this house for a barely a year already and the kitchen is only now starting to feel, uh, ‘kitcheny’ to me. Our ‘new’ kitchen needed some homemade touches to make it feel more homey I think. Sewn things especially. :)
Growing up we had two of these sucker ornaments hanging on our tree. They’re very easy, and especially quick to make and add that “sweet” touch to your tree. I think they’d even be fun to hang on a garland for a girl’s party.
